HONORING FALLEN COMRADES:

(top photo)On Veterans Day weekend, Veterans for Peace, who held all-night vigils at Arlington West Memorial, carried 100 flag-draped coffins through downtown Santa Monica Saturday afternoon.

(second photo) Gold Star Families for Peace co-founder, Bill Mitchell, held up a photo of his son, who was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004, and asked people to look at “this beautiful boy.”
