Water Main Bursts Near San Vicente/Montana Avenue:

An 8-inch water main burst today in the Brentwood area, authorities said.

The water started gushing some time after 2 a.m. near San Vicente Boulevard and Montana Avenue, according to reports from the scene.

Crews shut off the flow of water and worked to repair the main, which could take until some time this afternoon, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported.
