DUI Driver Crashes In Venice Apartment Complex Security Wall:

A suspected DUI driver crashed into the security wall of a Venice apartment complex, a police officer said today.

The crash was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Hampton Drive, said Officer D. Whitfield of the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division.

No injuries were reported and the wall was not part of an apartment, Whitfield said. The driver was taken into custody.
