The Adidas Plus Challenge, a North American qualifying tournament for youth soccer teams to advance to the FIFA World Cup in Berlin, will make its only United States stop Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Venice Beach.Participants can range in age from 13 to 16. A Team USA will ultimately be selected to compete in Berlin.The tournament will be held at the basketball courts at the corner of 18th St. and Ocean Front Walk. Youth soccer teams from across the country will play and members of the Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA, the area’s professional teams, will be present to meet fans.
