Camping Out for Invisible Children:

Several hundred high school students, university students, church groups and community members from all over Los Angeles county commuted to Santa Monica to sleep outside on the lawns of City Hall on behalf of the invisible children of northern Uganda who are abducted and forced to fight as soldiers. 80,000 people in 136 cities nationwide participated in the April 29 event, a plea to the U.S. government to help put an end to this horrific 20-year-long war.
