Celebration Ride for Hope in Santa Monica this Afternoon

This afternoon, David Francisco, a musician who became a partial paraplegic in a life-altering cycling accident, will celebrate the end of his 500 mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The inaugural Ride for Hope will conclude with a group ride from Will Rogers State Beach to Crescent Bay Park, Santa Monica. Lime is proud to support this event and will be providing Lime Bikes for registered riders.

Once the group reaches Santa Monica, the trip will end with a party followed by a live concert.The net proceeds from this event will be passed on to MusiCares, a non-profit organization that helps musicians; and The Shepherd Center foundation, focused on Spinal Cord injury research.

Who: David Francisco, his wife Kristi, and four close friends as they pedal the last leg of their 500 mile journey.

What: The inaugural David Francisco Ride for Hope with support from Lime and Airbnb. Bicyclists will meet at Will Rogers State Beach and ride together on Lime Bikes to Santa Monica alongside David Francisco and his wife Kristi. David and the team will be available for interviews.
