St. Monica Girls Win in Volleyball:

The St. Monica High girls’ volleyball team has a 13-2 record, including 5-0 in the Camino Real League. The team is coached by T. G. Pearce.

The Mariners’ most recent wins have been over Cantwell-Sacred Heart, Mary Star and St. Paul. Both losses were to Brentwood.

The roster: seniors Christine Cadiz and Callista Gallerni; juniors Whitney Ward, Lindsey Jones, Kim Galloway, Deja Dickeson, Katie Bickert and Michelle Gonzalez; sophomore Kristina Cornejo; and freshman Melanie Howe.
