Ever Thought About A Second Home Or Relocation To Salt Lake City?

When people think of Salt Lake City, they usually think of the Mormon Church. The truth is that the city has so much more to offer. Whether you’re looking for the outdoors, restaurants, bars, or museums, Salt Lake City has it all. It isn’t as monolithic as people think, there are diverse neighborhoods where people from other countries mingle with artists and musicians. There is good food, good people, and so many activities. Read on for reasons to take the plunge and move to Salt Lake City.

The Neighborhoods

One of the most enticing parts about Salt Lake City is that there are so many neighborhoods where you can find home. While Downtown is full of professionals, bars, nightlife, and restaurants, it is just the beginning or what the city has to offer.

Central City is full of outdoor attractions and has a college town atmosphere. There is a leash-free dog park called Herman Franks, the Gilgal Sculpture Garden, and Liberty Park. This is also where you’ll find the most eclectic display of international food. It is a great place if you are looking for a diverse neighborhood that is also family-friendly.

Sugar House is an artisanal district where there are boutique shops, record stores, and local artisans. With art galleries, book stores, and a business district, the center of the neighborhood is Sugar House Park, a gorgeous nature area of over 100 acres.

Perhaps the hippest neighborhood is Capitol Hill, where there are incredible views of the city. Restaurants have rooftop bars and the architecture is diverse. There are Gothic and Victorian homes, and some of the best hiking around.

Finally, University is where the University of Utah hosts 30,000 students. The neighborhood has clubs, bars, and restaurants. While part of University has a professional vibe, there are also small stores that preserve a counter-cultural atmosphere.

Whether you are looking to live in the city or in the suburbs around it, there are so many affordable options to make a home or lay the foundations for a family.
