Crossroads Soccer Teams Qualify for CIF Playoffs:

Both Crossroads soccer teams have qualified for the CIF playoffs.

The boys, who had a 2-15-1 record last season, enjoyed a complete turnaround. They went 9-1 to finish first in their league and earned a No. 1 playoff seed.

Sophomore Jonah Kegan is the leading scorer and Devin Antin has had an outstanding season under the direction of Coach Rudi Bianchi, his son Fed and assistant coach John Climaco.

The Crossroads girls finished third in their league to gain a playoff berth after being out of the playoffs for the last four years.

The Antin sisters, Paige and Elyse, have combined to score 21 of the team’s 42 goals under the guidance of Coach Kenzo Bergeron.

Crossroads had an important 2-0 win over LA Baptist on Wednesday, February 7.

Archer of Brentwood, which finished ahead of Crossroads last season, did not make the playoffs this time.
