Once again, the Santa Monica Chorus has won first place at the Sweet Adelines International Regional Competition.

The 32-member chorus, winners in the Mid-Sized Chorus Division, also won an overall third place award, competing against 18 choruses totaling 1,000 singers from California and Nevada. The chorus won third place last year as well.

Other wins for the Santa Monica Chorus include fourth place for “Serious Treble” and fifth place for “Sweet Synergy.” “Sweet Synergy” also won the Sweet Adeline Young Women in Harmony award, which is given to quartets with singers under age 26.
