Menu Items Include Southwest Chicken Salad and Smoked BBQ Jackfruit

The new Bludso’s BBQ Santa Monica location, a barbecue restaurant by LA pitmaster Kevin Bludso located approximately 1.5 miles from the Santa Monica Pier at 1329 Santa Monica Boulevard, has opened up shop.
According to its website, the Santa Monica location serves menu items such as Southwest Chicken Salad, Lean Brisket, Smoked BBQ Jackfruit, Dinosaur Beef Rib, Texas Caviar, Banana Pudding and Blackberry Cobbler. Offered sauces include Hot & Mild BBQ, Pint Ranch and Chipotle Butter Ranch.
Bludso has appeared on the Netflix series The American Barbecue Showdown along with Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Ferrieri. Born in Compton, he opened Bludso’s BBQ in 2008. It now is a global sensation with locations including Bludso’s Bar & Que in Hollywood, a concession stand at the LAFC Soccer Stadium and more.
Bludso is a two-time winner of the Steve Harvey Hoodie Award. Last year, his first cookbook, The Bludso Family Cookbook: BBQ Soul Food and Family, From Compton to Corsicana, was released.
