Codepink joined with Veterans for Peace, Gold Star Families for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War and Iraqi Voices for Peace in a Mother’s Day event at the Arlington West memorial, north of the pier on Sunday, May 13. After a ceremony to honor the mothers who have paid the ultimate price in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as gathering to say, “No More War, Bring Our Troops Home Now,” participants held a short Mother’s Day march on the Pier. photo by Margaret Molloy
