Drive-by Shooting:

Several gunshots were fired into a vehicle Tuesday evening, October 23, in the 1900 block of 19th Street. SMPD officers responded at 8:05 p.m. to the Shots Fired call and made contact with the victims, who said that they had been sitting in their parked vehicle when a gold colored four-door car drove up alongside of them with two males who pointed a handgun at them and fired several gunshots. That car then drove away southbound on 19th Street towards Pico Boulevard, they said. None of the occupants in the victims’ vehicle were injured, but several bullets struck their car. It is unknown what type of handgun was used.
