LA Medical Center Seeks Help Identifying Unconscious Patient

He has been unconscious since admission, and staff have been unable to determine his identity

Los Angeles General Medical Center, operated by the L.A. County Department of Health Services, is asking for public assistance to identify a patient hospitalized since July 7, officials said. The individual was involved in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident.

The patient is described as a 65-year-old man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 217 pounds, with straight grayish-brown hair and brown eyes. He has been unconscious since admission, and staff have been unable to determine his identity.

The hospital’s Social Work Department can be reached at 323-409-5253 during regular hours. Specific contacts include Nicole Crayon at 323-409-3877 (7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Jocelyn Mayo at 323-409-4463 (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), both Monday through Friday. 

For after-hours inquiries from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., call the Emergency Medicine Social Work Department at 323-409-6883. Weekend on-call support is available at 323-409-5254 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
