Rage Against the Machine Tribute: The Battle of Los Angeles

December 14, 9 p.m., $8-10

14 Below, 1348 14th Street, 310.451.5040

Missed Rage Against the Machine’s stint as the reunion band at the 2007 Coachella Festival? Couldn’t get tickets to see the socially-conscious group headline Rock the Bells? Didn’t feel like heading out to Las Vegas to catch Rage at Vegoose? Well, you might have missed your chance to experience the real thing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a way to vent your political frustration in Santa Monica. Named for Rage’s third album (which in turn was named after an unidentified flying object incident in 1942), the Battle of Los Angeles will recreate the band’s angst for fellow fans. Don’t forget to wear your Che Guevara t-shirt.
