Attendees can expect tastings of oysters, lobster, shrimp, tuna, and sushi, alongside dishes reflecting the coastal city’s culinary diversity

Several Santa Monica eateries are set to showcase their seafood specialties at the Off the Hook Seafood Festival on Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Santa Monica Pier. The event, coinciding with National Seafood Month and the city’s 150th anniversary, will feature more than 25 restaurants from across Los Angeles, with local favorites joining the lineup.

Participating Santa Monica restaurants include Santa Monica Seafood, The Albright, Surfing Fox, Fitoor Indian Grille and Lounge, Blue Plate Oysterette, Sushi Roku, The Lobster, Santa Monica Whaler, Boa Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, and the butter end. Attendees can expect tastings of oysters, lobster, shrimp, tuna, and sushi, alongside dishes reflecting the coastal city’s culinary diversity.

The festival will also offer live music from The Windbreakers, playing Yacht Rock hits from the ’70s and ’80s, and a variety of beverages from partners like Duvel, Dulce Vida Tequila, and Hampton Water Rosé. Additional highlights include oyster shucking competitions, interactive games, artisan vendors, and a Sustainable Seafood VIP Lounge sponsored by Santa Monica Seafood, featuring exclusive tastings and Pacific Park ride passes for VIP ticket holders.

General admission tickets, dubbed Little Fish passes, start at $80, while Big Fish VIP tickets begin at $175, both covering all food, drinks, games, and entertainment.
