Theatre 40 will present a limited run of *An Inspector Calls*, J.B. Priestley’s mystery drama, at Greystone Mansion beginning Jan. 8.
The production runs through Jan. 18 at the historic estate at 905 Loma Vista Drive. Performances are scheduled Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., with an additional performance Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 7:30 p.m. A Saturday matinee is set for Jan. 10 at 2 p.m.

Written by British playwright J.B. Priestley, An Inspector Calls centers on a police inquiry into the death of a young woman and the involvement of a well-to-do family connected to her final days. As the investigation unfolds, the inspector’s questioning exposes the family members’ individual actions and responsibilities.
The play debuted on Broadway in 1947 and is among Priestley’s most frequently staged works. Priestley, who lived from 1894 to 1984, wrote dozens of plays and novels and also worked extensively in film and television.
The Theatre 40 production is directed by Cate Caplin and produced by David Hunt Stafford. The cast includes Mouchette Van Helsdingen, Katyana Rocker-Cook, Isaac W. Jay, Arezu Tavakoli, David Hunt Stafford, Diana Angelina, Monty Renfrow, Isabella DiBernardino and Quinn Ruby DeVries.
