Morleigh Steinberg, co-founder of Arcane Space gallery, will present a new series of photographic works titled “someplace, somewhere” at the Venice Beach venue she helped establish in 2017.
The exhibition, featuring digitally manipulated images sourced from western Ireland printed on silver mylar vinyl, runs Jan. 9 through Feb. 8, 2026. An opening reception is scheduled for Jan. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Steinberg, whose background includes modern dance, choreography and long-term collaborations with U2 on tour staging and visuals, describes the works as exploring blurred boundaries between perception, memory and place. The pieces reconfigure traditional landscape elements into abstracted, kaleidoscopic compositions.
The series builds on her earlier projects, such as “LA Skylines,” while shifting focus to rural Irish terrain.
Arcane Space, at 324 Sunset Ave. Unit G, is open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
