The site links to trusted builders, vendors, mortgage assistance and local government resources
Gov. Gavin Newsom and the LA Rises recovery initiative announced a new website to assist homeowners rebuilding after the 2025 LA firestorms.
The site, larises.org/resources, provides information on rebuilding options, including modular homes, predesigned plans and custom builds. It links to trusted builders, vendors, mortgage assistance and local government resources.
The launch comes nearly a year after the fires, with officials noting ongoing challenges for survivors.
Rebuilding permits in affected areas are being processed faster than pre-fire averages for single-family homes, often in under three months, due to executive orders suspending certain environmental reviews and building code updates.
The site also promotes an AI-powered permitting tool from Archistar, provided free through state and philanthropic partnerships. Early data shows it reduced review times by 36% to 54% in Los Angeles County for some applications.
LA Rises coordinates private sector support with city, county and state efforts.
