A midcentury modern home in Pacific Palisades that survived last year’s devastating wildfires while neighboring properties burned — including the house of “Seinfeld” star Michael Richards — is now available for rent at $34,000 a month.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence at 344 Arno Way, located about 1,000 feet from the ocean, is being listed by singer-songwriter and real estate investor Betty Moon, according to a report in the California Post.
The 4,028-square-foot home, built in 1965, features hardwood floors, high ceilings, two fireplaces, a modern chef’s kitchen with a dining area that includes a wine fridge and wine closet, a wraparound terraced sunken living room and a primary suite with a spa-like bathroom. It also includes a den that can serve as a fourth bedroom or home office.

Moon told the California Post she was stunned to find her home still standing when she returned six weeks after the January 2025 fires that destroyed much of the neighborhood.
“My neighbor Michael Richards must be wondering how my place ended up as one of the only houses still standing,” she said. “Homes built like tanks were burned to the ground.”
Richards lost his historic property, including “Seinfeld” memorabilia such as signed scripts and a rare book collection. He is rebuilding using the original 1929 blueprints.
