The updated contemporary home features a private beach key and a rooftop deck.
Jonah Hill’s former Malibu Colony residence has returned to the market with a $13.25 million price tag following a recent deed-in-lieu of foreclosure transaction.
The three-story house was handed over to a private lender based in Boca Raton, Florida, in late 2025 by cannabis investor Hartley Wasko, according to The Robb Report. Wasko originally purchased the landside property from Hill in 2022 for $11.1 million. That transaction netted the Oscar-nominated actor a $2.1 million profit over the $9 million he had paid just a year before Richard and Laurie Stark, cofounders of the luxury rock-and-roll fashion label Chrome Hearts.
Dustin Nicholas of Nicholas Property Group holds the listing.

The property sits inside one of Southern California’s most exclusive guard-gated coastal enclaves, located between Pacific Coast Highway and the ocean near the Malibu Pier. While Hill famously repainted the 1980 structure’s boxy exterior a deep charcoal gray during his brief tenure, the home has since been restored to a white facade featuring modern black-framed windows.
With decor from design firm Vesta Home, the residence spans approximately 3,700 square feet and features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The ground level features a soaring living room anchored by a two-tone, floor-to-ceiling fireplace. French doors open the main living and dining spaces to a hedge-lined, decked backyard that features a lagoon-style swimming pool, a spa, and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a professional grilling station.

The primary suite occupies its own upper wing and includes a private deck, a fireplace, and an attached bathroom configured with a custom oversized shower, a soaking tub, and a private sauna. A floating mezzanine connects the primary suite to two additional guest bedrooms, while the third level features an expansive rooftop deck offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
The listing includes a private beach key, granting the landside property direct walking access to the gated neighborhood’s secure beach strip.

Hill, who recently wrote, directed, and starred in the Apple TV+ dark comedy Outcome, completely divested from the Malibu market last year after offloading his secondary beachside Colony property for $14.5 million. He and his wife, Olivia Millar, relocated to San Diego County
