Former SMC Student President, Heidi Hoeck, 24, an SMC Alum, is running for a spot on the SMC Board of Trustees. Her platform includes academic improvement, community relations, and environmental issues. She plans a grassroots campaign, including door-to-door, campus, and community visits. Ms. Hoeck lives in the Third Street Historic District of Ocean Park, and studied/practiced environmental politics.
