As the November 4 elections draw closer, several local organizations are holding forums (and one mixer) to enable the electorate to see the candidates face-to-face, and in some cases to pose questions. Herewith, a listing of some of those events of which we are aware at press time. (Treesavers already sponsored a forum for City Council candidates on August 14 [Santa Monica Mirror, August 21-27, 2008].)
