Santa Monica firefighters collected funds to “Fill the Boot” for the Muscular Dystrophy Association last week. Pictured here is a firefighter from the “B” shift filling the boot on Friday, September 26, on Cloverfield Boulevard at the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10). In just six hours over two days, the Santa Monica community contributed over $6,600 to the firefighters, who volunteered their time after completing their 24-hour shift.
