Missing Santa Monica Teen Found Safe At A Downtown Los Angeles Bus Station:

A 17-year-old Santa Monica girl who had run away from her home at 1 pm Tuesday and been reported missing to authorities was found safe last night.

On Tuesday evening, the Santa Monica Police Department issued a bulletin asking for the public’s help in locating Laila Kaddoura.

The bulletin said Kaddoura had been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and suffered from anxiety and depression and was listed as a “critical” missing person because of those conditions, along with her age.

SMPD Sgt. Jay Moroso said officers from the Los Angeles Police Department found Kaddoura at a MTA bus station in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

“There was no foul play,” Moroso said. “She was released to an adult family member.”
