Paul Conrad’s ‘Chain Reaction’ Peace Sculpture Unanimously Re-Assessed Back Into Santa Monica’s Public Art Collection

Paul Conrad’s Chain Reaction sculpture, which locals might recognize near city hall on Main Street, has been reinstated into Santa Monica’s Public Art Collection by a unanimous vote.

The piece was also restored for a new era, and has been a city landmark since 2012. Standing twenty six feet tall, it has been in Santa Monica since 1991 in front of the civic center.
