Santa Monica’s Omelette Parlor On Main Street To Close Today After 37 Years:

The Omelette Parlor will close its doors for the final time today

After 37 years, The Ocean Park Omelette Parlor at 2732 Main Street in Santa Monica will close its doors for the final time today, Dec. 18 at 2:30 pm.

Since the fall of 1977 The Ocean Park Omelette Parlor has been serving the local community and tourists those large over stuffed omelettes and tasty potatoes that generations have come to love.

Owner Bob Hausenbauer said an “equitable negotiation with the landlord had failed to be reached and the landlord refused to negotiate any further.”

He said the landlord is American Commercial Equities Management of Malibu.

With its cozy yellow and green dining room and bright garden patio this destination has been a welcoming place of family and fellowship since the day it opened.

Hausenbauer said he vigorously continues to seek a location that will accommodate his customers and future growth, and hopes to serve his customers again in the near future.

He can be reached at the restaurant or via email at Restaurant.Wise@gmail.com.
