SMC Wind Ensemble to Host Annual “Pops” Concert

The Ensemble Will Perform Music From Broadway Musicals to Hollywood Film Scores

The Santa Monica College Music Department will present the SMC Wind Ensemble in its annual “Pops” concert on Sunday, June 9, at 4 p.m. The event will take place at The Broad Stage, located at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.

Under the direction of Kevin McKeown, the SMC Wind Ensemble will perform an exciting program featuring popular music from Broadway musicals to Hollywood film scores.

General admission tickets are priced at $10, plus a service charge. The concert is free for all students with a valid student ID. Advance tickets can be purchased online at smc.edu/tickets or by calling 310-434-3005 during limited business hours Monday through Friday. Tickets will also be available for purchase at The Broad Stage Box Office 45 minutes before the concert begins. Parking is free on the premises, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
