Vegas Man Pleads Not Guilty In DUI Malibu Crash Case Involving Jennifer Lopez’s Rolls Royce:

A Las Vegas man pled not guilty today to crashing into entertainer Jennifer Lopez’s Rolls Royce while under the influence in Malibu in September.

Robert John Reitz, 53, is charged with one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol content.

The case includes the allegation that Reitz’s concentration of blood alcohol was .15 percent by weight and more.

Arraignment was held today in Department 103 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Van Nuys Branch.

Reitz allegedly crashed into Lopez’s car while they drove on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Sept. 27, prosecutors said.

The defendant faces a possible maximum sentence of six months in county jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted as charged.

The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Lost Hills Station.
