Now a bankrupted fallen giant, the Santa Monica store, along with the rest of the 90-store chain, was sold to the Great American Group for an aggregate of $150 million. Customers across the country are rushing to buy heavily discounted inventory during the final days of liquidation. One of the first music retailers to sell on the Internet, customers can still purchase products online at www.tower.com.
