Wilshire West Fine Paper, the area's largest invitation store, will be ending its long run in Santa Monica on Feb. 29.

The longstanding retail business, is an offspring of Wilshire West Stationers, an office supply and stationery store that opened in 1973.

The owners changed the business name and began operating as a specialty store featuring themed invitations, announcements and personalized stationery, in 2001.

Wilshire West, located in the small shopping center at Wilshire and Berkeley, is currently conducting a store-wide sale, offering all in-store merchandise to customers at half price, including all note cards, journals, greeting cards, gifts, thank-you notes, themed paper and invitations, andcolored envelopes.

Used store fixtures and office pieces are also being offered for sale.

Wilshire West Fine Paper is located at 3023 Wilshire Blvd.
