Creative Space Opens Westside Center:

Responding to requests from Westside families, Creative Space, the Hollywood-based child and family enrichment center, is expanding.

Classes for toddlers will begin on Monday, April 4, in its new 4,200 square foot center at 11916 West Pico Boulevard, just east of Bundy. Classes for older children will begin the following Monday, April 11.

Partners Cheryl Bayer Brady, Jennifer Barrett Bernstein, and Gayle Baigelman opened the Hollywood center in the fall of 2001. The new Creative Space, which is almost twice the size of the Hollywood center, will offer many of the same classes, as well as some new ones.

Creative Space offers classes for children ages 6 months to 14 years. The first class schedule will include some of its most popular classes, including Skateboard Art, Fairy School, Toddler Transition, Create Your Own Superhero, Ballet Babies, Sketch Comedy and more.

“When we opened a few years ago, we selected the mid-Wilshire/ Larchmont/ Hollywood area because there was a huge need for quality family enrichment in those neighborhoods,” says Baigelman. “Now we are moving to the Westside because we have an eager client base from our summer camp program at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple.”

The Creative Space premise is that when children are immersed in activities that spark imagination, creativity and tap into their abilities, it affects all aspects of their lives. For a class schedule call (310) 231-7600 or check out the website at www.creativespaceusa.com. There is ample street parking.
