Several hundred people, including some of Samohi’s lengendary old surfers and members of the current school Surf Club, as well as class of ’65 alumni, gathered at Barnum Hall on the Santa Monica High School campus on Friday for a benefit for the Surf Club that was highlighted by the screening of a film featuring surfers from the class of ’65. Bobby Birstock, Surf Club member, (pictured) won the long board donated by ZJ Surf.
