Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus announced last week that it will offer “Getaways,” day trips to Southern California fall events and locations, including a Danish village, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, and, finally, the Rose Bowl Game and Parade.
The trips are part of what Big Blue officials describe as “the community transit initiative [we are] developing.”
“These day trips are the perfect escape that require no planning, no fighting traffic, to parking hassles, and saves a bundle on filling up your tank,” said Dan Dawson, Customer Relations Manager. “These trips are great adventures for out-of-town guests that come in for the holidays.”
