Cindy Sheehan Visits Arlington West:

Cindy Sheehan, whose vigil at the entrance to President George W. Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas, focused the nation’s attention on the human cost of the Iraq war, visited the Arlington West Memorial in Santa Monica on Sunday, November 6.

Sheehan first announced her plans to camp outside Bush’s ranch until he met with her at the Veterans for Peace national convention in Dallas, Texas.

Arlington West was created and is maintained by Veterans for Peace – LA.

One of the crosses at Arlington West is dedicated to Sheehan’s son Casey, of Vacaville California who was killed in Sadr City Baghdad on April 4, 2004.On October 26, Sheehan visited Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
