Kline Was Samohi Water Polo Leader:

When Santa Monica High won the Ocean League water polo championship this season, Adam Kline was one of the top goal scorers in the CIF.

Kline led the way as Samohi won all five league matches.

In a 19-9 win over third place Culver City, Kline scored seven goals. Samohi led at halftime, 11-2 and after three quarters, 15-3.

Samohi was ranked second in the CIF in its division and reached the semifinals in the playoffs.In playoff competition Samohi defeated Bolsa Grande 23-9, Norco 11-4 and Pasadena Poly 11-4 before losing to Rowland 8-6. Bonita, which was the No. 1 seed, won the championship by defeating Rowland in the finals.
