The New Roads girls have taken control of the Harbor League basketball race.New Roads defeated Rolling Hills Prep last week, 46-44. The Jaguars have a 5-0 league record. Rolling Hills Prep is 2-1, Ribet Academy 2-2 and the league’s three other members, Community Harvest Charter, Price and Shalhevet, are all winless in league games. New Roads, coached by T’Juana Knox, is 12-6 overall. Rolling Hills Prep is 13-6.Desiree Davis leads New Roads in scoring with 14.7 ppg. Lindsay Knox averages 9.0 and Cicely Preer 8.8.
