Librarian Sylvia Anderle has been named one of the 41st Assembly District’s Women of the Year by Assemblymember Fran Pavley. Anderle, who works at the Fairview Branch Library, is being honored for her 11 years of service. Over that time, she has helped 500 Spanish-speaking children by creating a summer reading program that helped the kids strengthen their English literacy skills.
