Brentwood Eliminated by Temple City, 5-3:

The Brentwood School baseball team won its second-round game in the CIF baseball playoffs by defeating Sultana of Hesperia, 3-2, on Tuesday, May 22.

However, Brentwood was then eliminated by Temple City, 5-3, on Friday, May 25, in a game played at Brentwood.

Brentwood finished the season with a 19-5 record.

Against Sultana, the Eagles began the bottom of the seventh inning with a 2-1 deficit but had a two-run, game-winning hit from junior Jered Talia.

Jeff Gleischman earned the win by pitching a complete game.
