Samohi’s Katz Commits To Play At Oregon State:

Ryan Katz, who will be a senior at Santa Monica High in the upcoming football season, has committed to play college football at Oregon State.

Katz, who will be Samohi’s starter for a third straight season, demonstrated improved running ability last season in addition to being an accurate passer as coach Zach Cuda expanded his role. Viking teammate Cameron Collins, who was a senior last season, also chose Oregon State. Collins, who most likely will be a defensive back in college, was on the receiving end of Katz’s passes at Samohi.
