Traffic Advisory:

Caltrans will be installing adaptive signal controls along PCH from the McClure Tunnel to Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Once installed, these controls should help with traffic flow. Currently, the construction is between the Tunnel and Temescal Canyon Road.

Construction is slated to occur every night except Saturday, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., until October. At times, one lane in each direction will be closed. Expect delays.

Bus Ad Drama Behind City Attorney Accountability Act:

The Big Blue Bus’ (BBB) advertising policy comes before Santa Monica City Council Tuesday, with non-profit organizations calling for a change to regulations. Upset surrounding regulation interpretations in 2011 has, in-part, lead to one non-profit drafting their own initiative, the “City Attorney Accountability Act,” calling for the role to become an elected position.
