Soccer in Santa Monica:

In one Girls Under 12 game at Clover Field, the Blue Monsters (in pink, coached by John Lamb and Matt Pringle) give a post game salute to their opponents, the Flaming Lollipops (coached by Sammy Romo and Rich Gross), who came from behind to win the game 4-2 on Ariana Lomeli’s four unanswered goals in the second half. Both teams belong to the Santa Monica American Youth Soccer Organization whose GU12 Division alone includes approximately 150 players. photo by Dave Quick
