Delgado Brothers
March 22, 9:30 p.m., $10
Harvelle’s, 1432 4th Street, 310.395.1676
Back in El Monte, the Delgados – Bob, Joe, and Steve -– were known for their jam sessions, which brought in the likes of future bandmate Ray Solis and Los Lobos’ David Hildago. Eventually, the Delgado Brothers formed as a proper recording group and released their debut album in 1987. Since then the band, which is rounded out by keyboardist Dave Kelly, have been critical darlings of the blues scene. The Delgado Brothers recently released the record A Brother’s Dream through Bell Asher Records.
