Megan Baer, one of the key players on Crossroads’ CIF championship girls basketball team in the recently-completed season, has been named Division 5-A Player Of The Year.At a recent team banquet in Lakewood, it was also revealed that Crossroads’ Kevin Cormier was named Division 5-A Coach Of The Year.The banquet was a festive occasion with the championship banner on display. This was Crossroads’ first CIF championship in girls’ basketball in the history of the school.Baer was also named Delphic League Player of the Year. Shannon McQueen and Kristina Murray were first-team all-Delphic League and Alex Palacios and Nadine Byers made the second team.Cormier was Delphic League Coach Of the Year in his first season at Crossroads.
