Money Woes: Strikers and Depositors Want Their Dough:

1. Large crowds waited all day outside Indymac Bank on Wilshire Boulevard on Monday, July 14, hoping to get their money after the Federal Government seized the bank over the weekend. 2. Service workers at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center were amongst the 8,500 service workers at the University of California’s ten campuses and five medical centers who began a strike on Monday, July 14. Workers are looking for a wage increase.
