Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament Returns to MountainGate Country Club:

Once again, MountainGate Country Club in Brentwood will host the Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament August 11 to aid armed forces veterans seriously injured in Iraq, Afghanistan and other terrorist locations.

Proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The investment banking firm Citi Smith Barney will be Grand co-sponsor.

A Medal of Honor recipient, Michael Thornton, will be guest of honor.

“I don’t think there’s ever been a golf tournament dedicated to a more deserving cause,” said Don Schwartz, a Citi Smith Barney vice president who is serving as Honorary Chair of the tournament’s Financial Services committee.

The tournament is seeking sponsorships from the business community, community organizations and individuals. For information contact Chris Bonvie of MountainGate Country Club at 310.476.6215, extension 235, or contact AGM@mtngatecc.com.
