The U.S. women brought home soccer gold from Beijing, and youth soccer rolls on in Santa Monica. The Wildcats (facing) meet the Red Bulls at game’s finish at Airport Park last Sunday in the American Youth Soccer Organization League’s second week of play. The Red Bulls won 5-1. AYSO fields approximately 1,500 players aged 4-18 and is the city’s largest youth sports league in terms of participation.
