Here’s a chance to see and hear two giants of modern jazz. Saxophonist Branford Marsalis is a three-time Grammy winner, producer, composer, and has played with everyone from Miles Davis to Herbie Hancock. Trumpeter Terence Blanchard has won four Grammys and has scored fifty films. A concert featuring both of these musicians doesn’t come along every day.

An evening of music, poetry, art, and theatre, Ignite features a site-specific play, “Tree of Fire,” by Jesse Bliss, with performers including Double G, Audio Angel, and Fanny Franklin, Mike the Poet, A.K. Toney, Miriam Peniche, Margaret Laurena Kemp, and many others.
