Downtown Santa Monica and Third Street Promenade will be an exciting fashion playground this Thursday, Sept. 8, when more than 20 shops and retailers come together from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. to host an extraordinary evening of shopping, entertainment and neighborhood-wide fashion events during the global shopping celebration, Fashion’s Night Out.

Offering a place to stroll, shop and sip a glass of wine, Downtown Santa Monica and Santa Monica Place will boast fashion events, exclusive discounts and contests for shoppers, as well as live DJ’s, champagne, refreshments and more.

Shoppers will find a variety of evening events all within walking distance throughout Downtown Santa Monica, including Third Street Promenade, at retailers like Steve Madden, Brandy Melville, Ted Baker London, Aldo, Kitson and many more.

These fashionable, can’t-miss events include a Santa Monica block party hosted by Fred Segal and Flaunt Magazine showcasing the hottest items for Fall.

Babette, another of Downtown Santa Monica’s unique retailers on Fourth Street, will feature their newest collections while shoppers enjoy delicious wines and tasty hors d’oeuvres. Guests will also have a chance to win a $300 Babette gift certificate.

Zara, located on Third Street Promenade, will host a festive party including a celebrity DJ, champagne bar and the hottest looks of the season. GAP and other retailers will offer deep discounts and special promotions on this night only.

“Downtown Santa Monica is very excited to participate in this global fashion event,” says Debbie Lee, Vice President of Downtown Santa Monica, Inc., “and we are thrilled that so many of our outstanding retailers and businesses will be joining in the festivities.”
