Santa Monica College Homecoming Week To Be Held October 25-29:

The Santa Monica College Associated Students will present Homecoming Week Oct. 25-29, packed with fun activities leading up to SMC’s Homecoming Game against L.A. Valley College.

Among the activities scheduled is a “Huff and Puff” game, a powder puff face-off of SMC students vs. SMC employees, at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at The Quad. The event is free.

Also on tap will be the SMC Homecoming Idol Contest, held in conjunction with Club Row, at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in The Quad. The winner of the Idol Contest will get to perform the National Anthem at the Homecoming Game. The event is free.

The Homecoming Game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Corsair Field. The event will include a parade, cheerleading squad, giveaways and drawing, and a Halftime Kick Contest with a first prize of $10,000. Tickets start at $3.

Giveaways will be provided by Benji’s Electronics, Game Mechanic Studio, Chase Bank, Chipotle, Starbucks, Sir Richards, Whole Foods and SMC Bookstore.
